Diploma of Community Services

The Diploma of Community Services applies to workers who deliver case management, coordination and case work intervention services to clients. Community services workers provide support to individuals and groups. This qualification addresses work in roles that usually involve service delivery, either direct client work and/or community education or development projects.

Allied health assistants work under the direction of professional staff such as doctors, social workers, physiotherapists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, diversional therapists, home economists and nurses. Working in the role of Hospital or Health Services Pharmacy Support, requires a broad range of skills to help patients with their medication needs.
