As a student enrolled with Health Industry Training, I could not be happier with the student administration staff and my trainer. An RTO that actually contacts you back and answers questions promptly. They communicate regularly and have offered support to me in many ways. The resources supplied are comprehensive, relevant and easy to read. The assessment tasks were manageable and fair.

The block training has been a huge learning time which has been informative and enjoyable. My confidence levels are so much higher than they were before I started my course and I feel ready to enter my life as a Pathology Assistant.
I would recommend HIT to anyone pursing a certification in any of the certificates they provide. The trainer has answered all my questions and I am very grateful for her knowledge and guidance.

The HIT staff have been very supportive of my study journey while completing my Diploma of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander primary health care qualification. I especially would like to thank Katie my trainer for all her time, patient and excellent teaching assistance she has provided.
Not only do HIT trainers support you with the course content but they have helped my writing skills grow throughout my Diploma. The HIT team members are always very responsive to my questions and I am never left wondering when I will hear back from them. HIT staff have always supported me throughout my study without a doubt, and I have greatly enjoyed my time studying within this organisation. I appreciate all the support and time you have all given me.

I was looking for a distance learning health course that offers a nationally recognised certificate . I am glad that I have found HIT, as they were offering the best distance learning option, that worked for me really well. It is a bonus that you can enrol australia wide anytime!
HIT staff was very welcoming and gave me support from the very first step. My trainer/assesor Teresa has been super couraging, helpful and understanding. As I am just at the beginning of my studying,
I am very satisfied with my trainer and HIT admin staff. They are all doing an amazing job, I can feel relaxed while studying as I have the support from them if I need any help. Looking forward to this journey with HIT till I reach my goals, to be a healthcare professional in the future.

I have enjoyed studying a Cert IV in Medical Practice Assisting with Health Industry Training. Teresa, my trainer has been extremely supportive and always happy to answer any questions that I have had regarding my course. I have also found all staff at Health Industry Training helpful when I have had to make any contact.

I have been a student with HIT since July 2019 I am completing my Certificate 4 in Allied Health Assistant. I have never been in the health industry until starting a career as a Allied Health Assistant in April 2019 and upon some research found HIT who I decided to complete my course with.
HIT were very affordable and I found really good reviews about them. Once I touched base with them to enquire about the course I heard back straight away with detailed information. Long story short I live remote and have found HIT easy to deal with & the course has been so interesting, enjoyable to complete.
My Assessor is available if I need but I have found the learners workbooks so detailed I haven’t needed to ask to many questions. My trainer / assessor Teresa will still touch base with me to check in and keep me motivated which I am grateful for. I highly recommend choosing them for any studies.

I have had a really good experience with HIT and the staff and find the website, textbooks and assignments easy to navigate and understand.
I feel like I am on the right path to completing my qualification either on time or very close to it and feel this is due to the support and encouragement I’ve received from my trainer.
Even though this time with everything happening I find my studies aren’t overwhelming and that’s because I feel like if I need any help or support, I am welcome to search it in an environment that is safe and open.
When I send emails or leave voice messages asking for call backs, they are answered in an appropriate amount of time and provides enough insight for me to continue understanding the materials
There have been no negatives during my time studying with HIT nor have I had any concerns regarding my trainer.
Hayley, and I would happily recommend HIT to others seeking education.

I just wanted to say, I am from Victoria and conducted a lot of research into my training provider due to bad past experiences, although hesitant to undertake learning from a QLD institute. I have been 100 percent impressed. In the beginning, all admin responses were prompt, informative and engaging, and my teacher, Karensa Reynolds, was outstanding. I was pleased she took the time to comment on each of my answers and thoroughly reply to my emails quickly. Course content was what I had expected and I enjoyed learning such skills. I would not hesitate to recommend this institute or commence further learning myself. Everyone I have dealt with has been friendly and professional.

I’ve been around with a few different training providers in my time studying, but I knew when I stumbled across HIT that you were a quality provider in the sense that the training is very relevant to the industry, flexible and affordable. It meant I could study at home to actually develop my career, while working and caring for a sick family member, and I just couldn’t have done that with any of the other providers that I looked at.
It literally changed my life. I’d previously struggled to get ‘on top’ in my career having moved out of home at a young age, not being able to afford quality education to get into the next pay grade, let alone commit to a classroom style course when I needed to commit to extra hours of work at the same time to be able to afford it.
When I came on for my Cert IV, my first trainer actually helped me pick the units most relevant to my career goals, which really set me up for the following job roles that I took on & helped me get the income I needed to get out of that ‘level one’ or entry level position. It gave me and the organisation I was working for at the time the fresh ideas and practices we needed to improve and to do well. The communication has always been great too – the trainers are always (and have always been) able to help.
I’ve come back to HIT do my Diploma in Community Development because I’m looking at making another career change following my experiences in Community Services… HIT have been a primary factor in helping me keep best practice relevant at work and in my career, and I know I’ve made a huge difference to some of my clients who didn’t have a way out of a situation they were in with their service provider- literally thanks to the training I’ve received at HIT… I know if I stay informed and keep up with my training and development that I’ll be able to influence some positive changes in the very near future.

I was reluctant to start this training as I have never worked in management or had a leadership position. By Leigh’s guidance and help, I have the confidence to continue with this course and pursue a management and leadership position.

The first retreat was full of practical activities, thought provoking, with things to research. The facilitator, Leigh Bennett, has excellent communication, is highly knowledgeable, gave us real world examples, was thoughtful and encouraging.

I’ve just completed my Cert. III in Pathology Collection. It is my career goal to become a pathology collector, and to progress in that industry. The trainers have been excellent. Fiona is detail oriented and very proactive. She spent a lot of quality time with her students. Yes, the course has been challenging, but the reward is having that qualification at the end, which is worth all of the effort that goes into it. HIT give follow up after the course as well, helping with interview techniques, resumes and cover letters. It’s good to know you’ve got that support after. Thanks Health Industry Training, I really enjoyed doing my course, and I’m really grateful for having this qualification towards my career goal.

I almost didn’t go for the course because I thought I was too old. I’ve just turned 60. But clearly, I wasn’t. I really enjoyed the course, and the teacher was fantastic. I don’t know that I would have completed it without Fiona’s input. The study, I found a little hard to start but, once I got into it, I really enjoyed it. I’ve learned more than I thought I would. Apart from the medical studies, I’ve learned a lot more about people and diversity. I made a lot of new friends, and now I’m looking for a position in hospital phlebotomy or theatre sterilisation of equipment.

I’ve just graduated from my Cert. III in Pathology Collection with Health Industry Training. I had a wonderful experience, and I learned a lot. I really enjoyed the practical aspect, where they had all the equipment that we needed for our training, before we went on to placement. I’d highly recommend it to anybody.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the whole journey. From studying, assignments and placement. The placement was fantastic. I had an excellent supervisor at SNP Bray Park (Louise). The whole process from January to now has been a success for me. Thanks so much to Health Industry Training, and especially to Fiona, for her excellent training and for pushing me to believe I could do this.

It had been a long time since I had completed any study, so I was nervous about how I would go. From the start, the trainers were helpful and willing to go beyond the norm to help me finish the course. The course, I found well structured and informative. Thanks for making the experience of returning to study an interesting and easy experience!

I have recently completed my Certificate 111 in Health Services Assistance, selecting the units appropriate for theatre support which is the area that I was interested in becoming qualified in.
I have studied a lot over my career as an Instrument Technician in different formats and found Health Industry Training to be excellent. The course content was easy to follow, and the student portal was easy to navigate. Support was readily available by my personal trainer/assessor. The elective units were relevant to the area of study and provided me with the necessary skills required for this role.
I would highly recommend HIT to others, and would happily study with HIT again.
